My Role at OCG Creative
I’ve been with OCG Creative for about 3 years and have worked as Field Strategist for the last year and a half. In this role, my priority is to make sure that my clients achieve and exceed their goals. Through strategic analysis, market research, and collaboration with my clients, I aim to help them grow their businesses; whatever that may look like. Whether the client is looking to sell more products, convert more leads, or increase their brand awareness, my job is formulate the right strategy to get them there.
In addition to developing the strategy, I facilitate and manage all of the marketing efforts. Depending on the client, their services may include Search Engine Optimization, content curation, paid advertising, social media, and/or email marketing. Through consistent communication and reporting, I ensure that my clients are updated on our progress and are able to track our results over time.
Why I Got Into Digital Marketing
Although I started in the digital marketing field by chance, I’ve grown to really enjoy that this industry is always evolving and creating new challenges. I have always been the type of person who loves problem solving and being challenged. I think I do some of my best work when the solution isn’t entirely clear. Working in this field, the only thing that is constant is change. I think it’s very interesting how the market has evolved and continues to change. Just in my 3 years of experience, I’ve seen so many aspects of digital marketing change.
The Most Rewarding Part of My Job
Witnessing clients achieve their goals is easily the most rewarding and best part of my job. I work with a wide range of clients from large, established businesses to one-person operations that are just starting up. Whereas a small increase in sales might be the goal of a larger firm, making the first sale might be the goal of a start up. No matter the size of the goal, being a part of the team that helped make it happen is awesome!
My Goal for OCG Creative
My goal for OCG isn’t to be the largest firm or have the most clients, my goal is for people outside of our organization to see how strong our team is. From a biased perspective, we have the best group of individuals in each area of our company. Not only is the team great at what they do on an individual level, everyone works together seamlessly. And on top of all of that, they are so fun to work with!
Outside of Work
Outside of work, I like to spend my time with my family and friends. I frequently drive down to the Bay Area to visit my family and try to take trips to see my friends in other states as well. Currently, I am pursuing my MBA at the University of Nevada, Reno, so most nights after work you can find me studying.
My Favorite Type of Client
For me, the perfect client is someone who is excited about their business and ready to be a part of the team. When the client is as engaged in building their web presence as we are, the results are incredible!
